Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics seeks to cultivate balanced individuals who will actively participate in the economic and social development of Belarus. Therefore high attention is paid not only to the teaching process, but also to the sports and cultural activities of the University students and staff. Both national and international students are provided with supercomfortable studying and living conditions.

ACTIVITIES

Although BSUIR does not offer courses in arts or sport, there is a strong tradition of achievements in these fields. BSUIR teams are successfully participating in Belarusian Student Games, and some students are members of Belarus National Sport Teams. Many our graduates gain international standing as artists, performers and athletes, i.e. Aleksandr Medved , a famous wrestler, Vice-Chairman of the Belarus Olympic Committee, 3 times Olympic Champion, 7 times World Champion, and Ivan Edeshko, basketball player, Olympic Champion.
